Kinder and Gentler music is not, or at least shouldn't be what Godsmack is about. With this release however, the anger and aggression GS is famous for has disintegrated. Musically, not terrible, but nothing new or very exciting either. Check out the "10 Years of Godsmack" to start with if you're a newbie, and stick with the first 3 albums for their best work. Hopefully this is not indicative of their future as a recording band. Cryin' Like A B*** is a good song, as long as you ignore the story behind it.
