Meet the Author

Steve Meyerowitz has been a leading voice for natural foods in the United States since the 1970s. Dubbed "Sproutman" by Vegetarian Times in 1979, he is the author of Sproutman's Kitchen Garden Cookbook and eight other books about food and health. He has been featured on PBS and the TV Food Network, and his work has been featured in such magazines as Prevention and Organic Gardening. Steve lives with his family in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts.

    Great value, great information

    This is a great introduction to a discussion about organic foods as compared to conventional foods. The author presents the information in an easy to understand format and is a credible author for this topic since he has many other books on health and the environment. The Book is organized well
