Children's LiteratureIf you want some wacky off the wall ideas for costumes that are made mostly from duct tape then this is your book. Jim and Tim known as the Duct Tape Guys have come up with some outlandish and sometimes gross ideas for costumes. Many are appropriate for older kids and adults going to a Halloween bash-some are OK for kids such as Siamese Twins, Chia Pet, Haz-Mat Suit, Tin Man, and Scarecrow. The instructions are not detailed so you have to be able to create these costumes by looking at the photographs. The pictures of these guys and their big bellies will let you know that this is not a book aimed at a young audience. College kids going to a Halloween party who don't want to spend a lot of money would be a perfect audience. There are helpful hints at the beginning of the book about creating duct tape fabric and how to create head gear. There are also some ads at the back for supplies and a bit of information about this nutty duo. 2003, Workman, Ages 12 up.
