Overview

Jet and Ken Wittenberg are both artists. Jet studied Art at the American Academy of Fine Arts and the Art Institute in Chicago. Now a very ac- complished Fine Arts Painter, Jet's Original Oil and Watercolor Paintings have been given a special place in a growing number of private collections, and grace the walls of corporate offices of both large companies and small businesses. Her work has been featured in selected juried shows and is carried by Art Galleries in a number of states including Hawaii.

Following a formal education at Purdue and studying Art at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts in Chicago, Ken began his career as a commercial artist in a Chicago studio, doing layout, design and finished art. After work- ing in art sales for the studio, he left to join one of his accounts, a Chicago Advertising Agency, where he worked as an Account Executive, became a Vice President, and a part owner of the agency. Jet and Ken have combined their talents to create and colorfully illustrate a delightful children's book with very lovable characters. The book is called "The Orphans Of The Jungle"and was inspired by their travels to Africa. Seeing the spectacular beauty of the country, and the wide variety, and unbelievable numbers of

wild animals roaming freely, created some of the many unforgettable mem- ories which they wanted to share with others.
