    Highly recommended

Tom is a great writer. He presents complex (you'll find this out the more you fish) concepts and techniques in a way that the beginner can easily absorb. I return to this book now and again (especially before fishing trips) to sharpen up. It's a worthwhile read and something to keep on your bookshelf always. Lots of material covered in here.
