This marvelous book is sort of a companion to "Currency of Hope", published by Debtors Anonymous. "Currency of Hope" tells stories of people who have recovered from compulsive debt, while "The Other Side of the Coin" is the story of someone who lives with a compulsive debtor. Jeanine tells the story of her husband's struggles with money, and she does much more. With courageous honesty, Jeanine also shares her own difficult relationship with money, rooted in a difficult childhood of deprivation. As Jeanine worked to help her husband recover from compulsive debting, she discovered how her own behaviors and attitudes contributed to the problem. Together, Jeanine and her husband have found healing and hope. The book shines a beacon of hope in a very dark, despairing place. Highly recommended! Was this review helpful?
