Overview

In The Other Woman, Paula confides how she fell in love with the most charismatic man she'd ever met. She tells what Simpson was like as her companion and her love, and how his lies and cheating eventually wrecked their romance. But just as Paula was ready to leave Simpson for good, two people were killed in Brentwood. Racked by guilt, convinced that Simpson meant to take his life, she rushed back to his side two days before the epic Bronco chase. After Simpson's arrest, and throughout "the Trial of the Century," Paula was the defendant's lifeline: the first voice he heard each morning, the last voice he heard each night. Gradually, inevitably, she fell in love with Simpson again - only to set off a new cycle of trust, betrayal, anger and fear. By the time Simpson was acquitted, Paula had lost nearly everything: her career, her home, her privacy, a good deal of her self-respect. But at the end, she also gained something - a staunch faith in God and a new understanding of who she was and what she needed in her life. Paula began to solve the riddle that has haunted so many women: Why did she keep going back to a man she knew was all wrong for her?

    Excellent...a must read.

Paula Barbieri has a sincere, and honest approach to her book about her life with O. J. Simpson. She is more than fair regarding her own mistakes as well as his betrayal. Seriously you will not be able to put this down until the last page is read.
