I am an avid fan of Colin Dexter's "Inspector Morse" series, and that's what attracts me to Oxford, England. When I first went to Oxford I just walked around, and rode the red double-decker bus around town over and over. For my second visit I took "the Oxford Plaque Guide" with me and arranged to see Oxford sites that have the blue plaques, as well as the other places from the Colin Dexter "Morse" series. Oxford is an amazing town, and I recommend this guide book for those who want to put the town in a historical perspective.
