The Pacific - Music from the HBO Miniseries

All Music Guide - James Christopher Monger
Credited to composers Hans Zimmer, Geoff Zanelli, and Blake Neely, the soundtrack to the HBO mini-series The Pacific owes more than a courtesy nod to the late Michael Kamen's elegiac work on the Steven Spielberg/Tom Hanks-produced 2001 companion series Band of Brothers. The music is outstanding!!!

This is truly a remarkable soundtrack. I have had it only a short time but it has taken centerstage in my collection. I have listened, and listened, and listened and just can't get enough of it. Not having the chance to watch the HBO Miniseries, it has whetted my desire to own the miniseries when it becomes available. The soundtrack reminds me of the music from Band of Brothers, but it also truly reminds me of the soundtrack from Gettysburg! I would highly recommend this soundtrack to everyone.
