If you are looking for a quick guide to changing your kid's diet, this is a good book to look at. The author gives helpful hints, tips and tricks for changing the way your family eats all their meals.The list provided for grocery shopping and re-building your pantry is really helpful! Sadly there are no pictures, so if you are hoping to find meals your kids will pick out based on how they look, I'd look for a different cook book.

What did humans eat before the advent of what we call agriculture? The foods explored in The Paleo Cookbook for Kids explains why we were healthier eating foods rooted in a more natural environment than the processed fare of today and why our kids should be enjoying these natural foods. The benefits associated with the paleo diet are that it not only aids in better digestion, has fewer toxins and gives our kids more energy but can greatly enhance their learning abilities.

Childhood obesity is not a joke! Over the past 30 years, according to the CDC, 'the number of obese children have more than doubled.' Imagine 30 years from now. For any parent looking to take back control over their kids diet, the Paleo Cookbook for Kids is an excellent starting point. The bottom line question I asked myself before picking up this book is, do I want to spend $3.82 now learning how to prepare healthy foods for my family or pay thousands many years down the road?

This is such a great book for getting kids to participate in their own choices regarding diet. The Paleo diet is very much a basic diet with a few food exceptions that are easily applied through the recipes and ideas for food presentation. There are endless ideas for kids to enjoy putting a snack or meal together. The Appendix of substitutions is a big help too.

If you want more fun, kid-friendly ideas, you might want to save money and just search for some new ideas on Pinterest. There weren’t any unique ideas in this book. A lot of time was spent on how you’re going to have to convince your child to eat Paleo. Why? Are they so savvy they are going to know the difference? There are several recipes although most of them may appeal more to the adults than kids.

I was a little hesitant at first to read this book, especially since it's a certain diet for kids. I was seriously ignorant about this subject! It features so many different healthy vegetables and meats, and ways to eat them that are even healthier. With a little one of my own, I have become more conscious about what goes into our bodies. I will definitely try out some of these recipes. Definitely recommend it!

This is a great book for parents of children eating a paleo diet. The books gives a fascinating background of the ancient diet. It includes many different "kid friendly" recipes that will woo even the fussiest eater. I was given this book for free to review.

I have received this book for free and I love it. This is for kids who cannot process gluten. The book was very carefully written. It follows perfect order and in addition to providing tips on getting your child to eat a gluten-free diet, to has recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and delicious desserts, my favorite being the frozen coconut bar . A must read if you are looking for a healthier way of eating within your budget.

This cookbook, which I got for free, has a lot of wonderful salad ideas, but I doubt most kids care much about salads, even if you do pour on the ranch dressing. For children, the dinner ideas and desserts are better than the lunch and breakfast ideas, but after subtracting ketchup, there probably aren't enough condiment ideas provided to slide a lot of these meals past those discerning kid palates.

Introducing the paleo diet to kids can be difficult—particularly children who attend public school or have multitudes of friends who eat (modern) traditional foods. This cookbook provides parents with ideas about how to get kids excited about eating paleo diet foods, how to plan meals, and how to keep the diet interesting. All in all, it is a helpful cookbook for both parents and children, and is an excellent beginner’s guide to paleo cooking for the family.

The Paleo Cookbook for Kids, is a great source of Paleo recipes specifically made to entice kids but these recipes can also be used with adults. Eating Paleo means to not eat any processed foods, instead it encourages the consumption of “raw” foods meaning foods that aren’t processed or stripped down of their natural nutritional value. I really enjoyed and must try the Curried Tuna Nori Rolls, just reading the recipie made my mouth water! Just like any successful diet, you must have a plan to follow.

Anyone with kids knows how hard it is to get your kids to eat any vegetables at anytime but a complete change of diet to the Paleo way in my humble opinion as a mother of 5 is going to be a fight from the get go! Growing children need more dairy than they can get from vegetables on any given day and then limit them to the list available in the Paleo diet, I see many issues with this. For many parents just getting your child to eat commonplace vegetables is a major chore. I say good luck to anyone parent who decides to take this lifestyle on with their children.

My family and I have really enjoyed the delicious healthy recipes we have found in The Paleo Cookbook for Kids we love the snacks, especially the “popcorn” and we topped it with parmesan or cheddar cheese. It definitely takes planning and meal prep for these meals. I did not have to pay for this book.

I'm getting to be a fan of paleo cooking, and feel a lot better having omitted white flour and dairy from my diet.  Some of these recipes are awesome—the chocolate banana pudding with coconut cream is outstanding, if not so healthy.  Many of these don’t seem very kid friendly to me.  I've never been able to convince a 6-year-old to drink a green smoothie or eat meat with a sauce on it (unless that sauce was ketchup, obvs).  Still, there are plenty of great recipes and good substitution tips.  I was given a free copy of this book for review, and recommend it to anyone wanting to try out simple, tasty, paleo food.

The Paleo Diet for those preferring an organic lifestyle. If you enjoy a healthy lifestyle and eating to complement as such, then this book will be your best friend. It is teeming with new and innovative ways to get your children to eat healthy and not even know it. I, myself, despite my below average cooking repertoire, plan to attempt the egg and veggie scramble. An engaging book for the kitchen counter.

The author is giving parents the tools to help their kid(s) to start eating healthy by having them become apart of the process of preparing healthy  gluten-free meals. The book will give you insight on natural foods that are healthy, flavorful and easy for kids to help prepare. All the recipes are kid friendly, easy and take a little to time make. Healthy eating will become the way of life for kids to start eating once the incorporate the fundamentals of this book.
