    an honest what's what

This book is great! As an expecting mother, I've heard all kinds of dos and don'ts from friends and relatives. My ob- gyn recommended the book, and it has helped me confidently choose which of those do and don't rules to follow. No one likes feeling paranoid or hysterical--Panic- Free takes the sensible and calm approach.

Finaly the Real Facts about Pregnancy

Dr. Broder addresses the myths and misconceptions surrounding pregnancy. As a RAND researcher and OB GYN at UCLA he gives you the reasoning and scientific support to why it's ok to dye your hair, drink coffee, and travel. It is written in a down to earth style, by someone who who obviously knows his stuff. If your contemplating having a baby or already pregnant, this is a ' must read'. Health care providers who treat women of child bearing age would also benefit from reading this book. My OB GYN told me about this book. It has a lot of information that most phsycians don't have the time to investigate. The writing style is straightforward and funny. Now I have real scientific facts to support my choice to exercise during pregnancy, eat sushi (only the type Dr. Broder suggests), fly during my sixth month to my brothers wedding. I can drink a glass of wine and not worry about those dirty looks. Research shows it's all safe! Get the book for you or a friend. It's great!
