Fast represented his well researched knowlege of the Sacco/Vanzetti case with superb, poetic language, actual quotes from the men, and an interesting way of writing it, with all major characters (some which many people would never hear of like Felix Frankfurter). Fast wrote in a way that a classic is written. My only complaint is how scarce it was. We could only find it in one library in a bout 2 counties (and i live in the capitol of my state). I ended up buying it for $30 off of ebay. But, if one is a lover of historical fiction, or the case in general, I suggest it.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
