    Motivational!

I read this book several years ago when I was a classroom teacher. It speaks to the heart and mind of the teacher. According to Fried good teachers havve both deep intellect and passion. It was the first time I read anything that spoke directly to the passion (why we teach) without being 'touchy feely' and in fact illustrating the importance of intellect, structure and passion! A great motivational read!
