In his autobiography, Halevi sets out his spiritual journey amid the drama of life, which he perceives as a process of development. Family history and culture are the background to his education, relationships and profession, indicating how his unfolding fate is part of a Providential scheme. This book traces the initiations of setbacks and breakthroughs as well as the story of how an artist and poet became a writer about and a teacher of Kabbalah. Many of the illustrations are the author's own work. So too are several of the diagrams, which are a modern interpretation of the Tradition. The Path of a Kabbalist is also a first-hand account of how Halevi's books came into being and inspired the foundation of the Kabbalah Society.

About the Author

Z'ev ben Shimon Halevi (Warren Kenton 1933-2020) was born in London where he lived most of his life. He was involved in esoteric work for over sixty years, updating Kabbalah and relating its principles to science and psychology as well as religious topics. He taught groups and ran workshops and retreats at home and abroad, while his seventeen books were translated and published in many different languages. His spiritual legacy continues to inspire students of Kabbalah worldwide. Halevi was the founder and the Principal Tutor of the Kabbalah Society (www.kabbalahsociety.org).
