About the Author

Eric Silverstein was born in Tokyo, Japan, and spent eleven years growing up and traveling throughout Asia. He was born into a multicultural family, raised by his Chinese mother and American father. Eric moved stateside in 1995, spending his next six years in Atlanta, Georgia. Eric then pursued a legal career and attended Washington University in St. Louis law school, after which he practiced as a litigator in St. Louis, Missouri. Since founding The Peached Tortilla food truck in Austin, Texas, Eric has focused on cooking modern Asian comfort food largely influenced by his upbringing. When Eric is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and dog. He is also an avid Atlanta sports fan and continues to wait for the first ever Atlanta Falcons’ championship.
