This, and the other collections in the series(Medieval History, Modern History, Contemporary History), are excellent graphic and, surprisingly, in depth guides to the changing course of history. His writing is not only knowledgeable, but sharp and witty. This series is getting a little dated, but I still find them an enjoyable read after twenty years of use. I have found no comparable atlas based summary of Western history. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
