Expected some romantic persian historical novel and what did i get...a homosexual love story. Thankfully the author did not describe any sexual acts, as a matter of fact, most love was expressed in tender terms. This hhas been my first exposure to this genre and kudos to the author for his showing tender moments without making the reader embarrassed. Enjoyed the sights of london, most of all the wonderful description of art.

I can't believe this book was free. This book was wonderfully written! Well developed characters. And I loved that the characters Vaz, Mitch, and Rita were not caricatures but realistic as the people you live next door to. This book was worth more than $0.00. If you download this book you won't be disappointed.

Was a slow read for me. But overall was a good book. I am gay, and was happy to find gay fiction that wasn't porn. It wasn't until the last 10 chapters that I would not stop until I was done.

British writers of so-called gay fiction are just better than American ones, more literate for one thing, nor do they feel it necessary to go into endless detail about male sexual experiences, page after page. There is a nice balance in this novel, a decent plot of a young Iranian coming to London to study, and his unexpected experiences in one of the great cities of the world. I gave it 4 stars because of the silly typos. No one seems to bother proofreading nowadays.

I was pleasantly surprised that a story this good and long was free. You can become engrossed in the story and the characters since their emotions and characterization is so well done that you feel as if you know them. I wish the authir wrote more stories like this, because this story was amazing. It was hard to put down. I had to finish this amazing story and I'm truly glad that I did.

This book is tremendous. I love books written by British authors set in England. The characters were well developed. I found myself wondering about the characters during the day and counting the minutes until I could get back to the book and see what they were up to while I was gone. The story was quick-paced, I wasn't bored; but still took the time to entertain me with the story. I thought I had the mystery figured out with about 200 pages left in the book. But the book had twists & turns, so I was never 100% sure until the end.
