This is the perfect gift for ANY Phan of Phantom of the Opera, whether it is the original book by Gaston Leroux, the play by Andrew Lloyd Webber, or the 2004 movie by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The pictures are Phantastic! There is a large photo of the Masquerade scene (in the Movie), and the details are exquisite! I loved the script format for Section 3 - the Movie - best, since I am a Phan of the POTO Movie. I actually watch the movie and follow along in the book. I gave it 4 stars for accuracy because there are one or two lines in the book that are NOT exactly true to the movie dialogue. The other sections, 1 and 2, give in-depth details and little-known facts about the legend behind the original story and the making of the Stage Play. There are wonderful photos of the original London cast. I consider this to be a definite YES for any collector of Phantom of the Opera memorabilia.
I absolutly love the Phantom of the Opera!! I think that this is going to be one of the greatest books I'm going to read. I just hope that it takes my mind to a strange new world like all of the other Phantom of the Opera books I have taken to heart.
