Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
The Barnes & Noble Review
Time is especially money if you're a graphics professional. Photoshop CS2 Speed Clinic claims it'll help you get twice the work done in half the time, and it comes pretty close to delivering.

Matt Kloskowski teaches you all you need to actually use batch processing, scripts, and the myriad Automations built into Photoshop and Bridge. You'll learn how to speed up Camera Raw workflow. You'll get Bridge to build its thumbs while you're doing something else, so you needn't wait twiddling yours. You'll create actions that can automatically watermark any image, portrait or landscape. You'll learn how to clear away clutter with layer comps; apply consistent color management settings throughout Adobe Creative Suite; even keep track of archived images more efficiently.

This book is mercifully concise. But it's powerfully useful. Bill Camarda, from the May 2006 Read Only

    Paid for Itself Right Away

After finishing the first chapter of Matt's book, I knew it had already paid for itself many times over. By the time I finished it I felt guilty that I had paid so little. What great lessons in speed and, often, that is what makes us money using Photoshop. I couldn't recommend this book any more strongly than I do. If you want to speed up Photoshop, buy the book.
