A boy, a mom, and his sister are talking about going to their new home, but Paul, the boy, can only think about burying his dead lizard.
Description and summary of main point
The story is about a boy who moves all the time, has a suicidal mom, and finally found a good home and family. The pigman, Nono Frankie, shows and does things with him he's never done before.
The book was very good and I recommend it, but the ending was a huge disappointment. I know this is like a biography of his actual life but it was still terrible.
He has to leave his friends and the home because his mom got mad at the people they were living with and said they were moving again. The tree died, you'll find out if you read the story, his best friend never escaped and married a drunk who burned down their house for the insurance money, and he had to leave the Pigman.
"The Pigman and Me" was a good book but, as I said, the ending ruined it. I suggest if you read it, just read until the part where his mom explodes and stop. Then pretend everything was fine and they lived happily ever after, it will save you the disappointment.

I read this book and it's fantastic. I really liked it. I tried doing the trick where you close your eyes and climb Mt. Vesuvia. I gave myself an egg timer. You know, the kind with sand? All the sand was at the bottom. If you read this, Paul Zindel, please tell me what that's supposed to mean. I don't know how you'll reach me but maybe you'll find out. ~Citizen of OhioWas this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

This book was outstanding! Never have I read such a thrilling autobiography on an author's life. He takes the time, and expresses such detail and characteristics in his teenage life. I recommend buying this book to anyone who enjoys a great relaxing book on a nice pleasant day.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
