Meet the Author

John Bunyan (1628-1688) was an English Christian writer and preacher, famous for writing THE PILGRIM'S PROGRESS during his final years. After living a troubled and unrepentant youth, Bunyan converted to Christianity at the age of 21; he became a preacher and nonconformist Anglican, but eventually became a Reformed Baptist. He was arrested several times for preaching without a license (outside the Church of England).
