Overview

Lucy Russell dreads her upcoming marriage to the boorish Canadian trader her guardians have settled upon, but the fright of her wifely duties pales in comparison to the fright of the rough and dangerous life of an Englishwoman in 18th century Canada. Lucy just knows that she'll be carried off by childbirth, Indians, or even a bear, and be dead before her 20th birthday.

When she's carried off by pirates instead, Lucy finds herself in even more dire straits than she could have imagined. Lucy is forced to make a choice she never in her wildest dreams thought she'd be asked to make: submit herself to the Pirate Queen...or die.

    beautiful love story but ...

of the thousands of lesbian erotic fiction I have read this was one of the best and since I prefer historical fiction I know what I am talking about the love scenes were sensual and romantic lucy is the heroine an seventeen year old englishwoman and in the eighteenth century that was adulthood since many died in thier thirties and women in their twenties she is bieng taken to canada by her cousins who are also her gaurdians but lousy ones thankfully when pirates attack they are dispathed quickly lucy is given a choice become the captians sex slave or die but the twist is the captian is a woman a very tall sexy blonde with shorn hair and wearing mens clothes she aquieses finding it preferable to life with an old fat man I loved this story with one glaring exception I found jean-marie the captian far too bloodthirsty she lops off heads with careless abandon it was sickening but dispte this I highly reccomend this story to open minded poeple I would have given it five stars if not for the violence this is a novel for glbt people I intend to read any other historical erotica buy this author
