I got the book while waiting for The Walking Dead to reappear on telivision. I wasn't expecting too much at first, but in the end I was quite surprised at what this title brought to the table. The characters of Matthew, Jason, and Jonathan are the big favorites of mine in this book, but every character is highly likable and relatable. The story is different and has a sense of freshness about it that is strikingly different from other zombie novels. The only negative aspect of the book is the length and writing of it. The book can feel very rushed in certain areas, but it's nothing to complain about. I look forward to the next entry in what I would assume will be a very long and interesting franchise. Great book, great price, great read.
