Mr. Right? Not so much…

Emma Burney might not have a man, but she has a very practical solution for that: the plus-one agreement. A guaranteed date for any occasion. The problem? Her date is the gorgeous Dan Morgan, the man she lusted after for years.

Dan is all about keeping it casual, so when Emma decides to call it quits on their arrangement, he isn't bothered. Well, maybe there's just a little bit of dented ego. After all, he's always prided himself on his plus-one prowess. So when Emma begs just one last date…suddenly he's got something to prove!

I read the sample and thought it was going to be a good typical romance novel with humor and what not. But after I read past where the sample ended I ended up rolling my eyes getting annoyed by practically all the characters in the book except Adam and...uh his fiancee...I forgot his name...Which goes to show how much of an impression the book made. I even skimmed and/or skipped several pages because I was annoyed about how much they went on and on and on about what the other person's ulterior motive was or whatever else. This is the first book I ever bought and not read word for word. When I pay for a book I make it a point to read it word for word no matter how much I don't like a book. I personally wouldn't recommend this to anyone but that's my personal opinion. I would like to add there were a couple of misspelled words. I am not sure if some the words were misspelled because it is English English and not American English. And when I was reading I kept having to go back to reread because it seemed like some words were missing from the sentences.

A sweet fun read. Both characters are very likable and the romance is lovely. I quite enjoyed the book.
