The Poison Pill is a must read, May 13, 2009

The poison pill is a work of art written in plain English for all to enjoy. From the beginning we are introduced to many of the realities in Corporate America as well as some fantastic mysticism. Ivon Bates is a man who constantly endures emotional pain as he tries to find a place of belonging and love. As the characters unfold and we are taken to new heights, we are introduced to love, betrayal, deception, painful torment and most of all shocking surprises.

    The Poison Pill

The Poison Pill's first chapter is good. It's sad what happened to Lenox: Third degree burns! I hope he will be ok. But, Dr. Bates seens to be a scared person just by the sound of his thoughts. I do wonder if Rashkin or any of the other guys it the company, had anything to do with Joe Bates Death. Guess I'll have to wait to read more. Overall, it's starting off good and i'll like to know if Dr.Bates can handle running the company.

    Left me on my tip-toes!

The book had my full attention from the beginning. Mysterious and suspenceful. I couldn't put my book down without knowing what was going to happen next. I felt like I was in the book trying to figure everyone out. Who should you trust? Who should you be careful with? It was an exciting book!

    Mind-Riveting

The poison pill is a work of art. It has the mystical touch of pan's labyrinth and the enduring pain of a man trying to find himself. With the many realities it reveals; a new realm unfolds and introduces love, betrayal, deception and torment. Ivon Bates character is brilliant in this read and is the "intangible asset". To say that this book is great is an understatement. It is a must read.

    Great Book

This book is really good and entertaining. I have trouble every time putting it down, because is so interesting that it makes me want to keep going. I would recommend this book, because Professor Guerrero is a great teacher and writer. I'm not much of a reader, but this book calls my attention. I'm not done with the book, but so far is a Great Book.

Suspenseful, Twisting storyline and a Great Read!!!

The Poison Pill pulls you in from page one and takes you on a ride through the eyes of a man that has a rough road ahead of him. The main character has a lot of inner demons and past experiences that he needs to extinguish and he becomes stronger along the way because of them. I am not finished with the book yet, but so far the characters that are put in place are well written. Professor Guerrero does a fantastic job putting you in their place with his use of conversations and they are very relatable characters. Anyone that enjoyed the Dan Brown books would enjoy this story too.

On the edge, state of the art.

From beginning, middle and to the end the starteling, enthusiastic novel has kept me on my toes. Each chapter filled with hunger for more in order to know what will happen next. It's a great mix of suspense, passion, confussion, financial perspective and definetly the search for self identity. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone since I'm sure you can relate to it in one way or another.

Poison Pill: A Business (Gothic) Thriller

A little drastic at moments, but it does show an interesting combination of corporate world with vampire cult. Both, thriller and business fans should find this literary work very appealing.

I have read book Prof. Guerrero 'Poison Pill' with deep passion and I could not stop to read. Book was so interesting that I was looking forward to see what will happen in the next page. What I really like about that book it was the fact that - book was inpredictible, I could not make any judgment about the next step - because every page was like a big suprise. I would highly recommende that book to anyone who is looking for excitement and adventure ( plus wants to know 'little' something from financial environment:).

    Unreal

First you think about the title and the type of book it is before you flip the first page.. Then, Guerrero provides a view and relates business with life in this GOTHIC novel...!! The novel is full of unexpected twist and turns. I highly recommend the novel, if you plan to involve yourself with business in the future.

    MONEY AND LOVE

I am an accounting major at la guardia community college. As a student i am very happy to say that i am one of professor Guerrero's student and i learnt in his 6 weeks class what i could not understand in 12 weeks with another professor.Professor Guerrero's book the 'Poison Pill' is a very inspirational and educational novel.I've gained a tremendous amount of knowledge about the Bates from this book. Not only do i have ideas about starting my business but also about writing a novel. The most interesting aspect about 'Poison Pill' is the fact that the woman character shows a leadership position and daring personality. Although I've heard Professor talk about his use of words such as Either-or and neither-or in the begining of sentences I was impressed by his usage of them throughtout his novel.

    excellent book

I must say that when you first start reading The poison pill you can't help but to get caught up in the 'whodonit' aspect presented in the first few pages of the book. You learn that it's sexy to do accounting and own a business.
