Do you long for more adventure than your town has to offer? Have you ever wanted to go to another world? Summer vacation for James Richey is dull and boring-until he stumbles upon a portal to another world. Chalicu is full of giant wolves and hawks, talking animals, castles, caves, people living in gigantic trees, and a lot of mystery. What kind of excitement and danger will this new world bring him? He soon embarks on a journey to save both worlds. Using the clues in an ancient prophecy, he must find the Chalicu Stones and return them to their place of origin before it's too late. Portal to Chalicu a must read!!

I have been to Chalicu!! And I want to go back. Can't wait for the next book. I was hooked and I could not put it down. I found myself going back trying to figure out the clues again, because they were so clever and well written. The writing is fantastic. The values taught are meaningful for all ages young and old. It is on my Christmas list. This has all the makings of a great movie. Look out Harry Potter.

Looking for wholesome adventure books for your family?

This book is amazing! I am always looking for good books that are exciting enough to keep my children reading. From the moment I picked it up I was hooked and couldn't put it down myself. My kids would snatch it the second I did end up having to put it down. We had 4 of us reading it at the same time (the reason I am ordering another copy today).
