    Nice story

There was no sex but it was still well told.

    A bit of fresh air....

This was, thankfully, not the standard, "two people meet, have inexplicable attraction, have hot sex, have difficulty that nearly tears them apart, they make up and live happilybever after... though there is an almost fairy tale feeling to it. But it felt more grounded with the characters that had weight to them - they had personalities, desires and dreams that had nothing to do with sex or significant others. The main characters actually develop feelings for each other that grow stronger. It feels more natural and instead of being the main story and I think because of how it is told, it doesn't matter that the romantic leada are men - it could have been any sex, because it was a story of two human beings.

Sweet and gentle overall, there are hints of magic and depth here. I would definitely read by Suilan Lee. Her voice is bright and clear and her work is enticing.

    Love...steeped to perfection

As a tea drinker myself and a softie for a well infused tale of love, I could not help being drawn into the world that San and Ziyu inhabit. The setting, characters, and dialouge have been artfully blended to create The Precious Teahouse in all of its richly accentuated glory. I look forward to reading more of this unique author's work; and hopefully one day experince Chobaixi and gong fu chen to their fullest.
