Excerpt:
The guard opened a door up and stood to the side, motioning the boy to go on in. Jackson dashed into the room and found it to be some sort of living area. There was a small one-person bed in the corner, a couch, table, sink, small cube like refrigerator and a crappy looking old TV with tinfoil on the antenna. The sound of the door closing and the lock sliding into place caused him to spin around.

“What’s going on? We’re going to miss the concert!” Jackson could hear another song start up and was desperate to get out there.

“The show goes on for another couple of hours, don’t worry about it you’ll get to see plenty, I’ll even let you get backstage after the show ends and meet them in person if you want.”

Jackson damn near wet himself at hearing that. His eyes shone brightly in the dim light and a huge toothy grin split his face, only to fall off a moment later when the guard pulled out a little wooden chair and sat down heavily in it.

“Only you got to pay first.” The big man undid the belt on his jeans and popped open the button, but left it zipped. He stretched his legs out, spread them a little bit so that a body could fit easily between them before he reached over and took a half filled bottle of whisky from the table and a shot glass.

“What do you mean?” Jackson was fidgeting now, looking over at the locked door and the big man with his pants partially undone while amber liquid tumbled down into the shot glass with a liquid tinkling sound.

“You know exactly what I mean. You don’t have any money, so you’ve only got one thing to pay with, am I right? You want to go see your band, pay up!” The guard flung his head back and tossed down the shot. Jackson edged a bit towards the door before the burly security man interrupted him.

“That doors locked to keep people out, not in. You don’t want to see your band that’s fine by me, I’ll throw your ass out on the street right now. This is a limited time offer, so what’s it going to be?” The door man held up his shot glass to the light and sloshed the liquid around a little, pretending to ignore his temporary guest.
