Editorial Reviews

S. Shonea
"Once again, Eldridge recounts underappreciated aspects of the Civil War maritime conflict. He paints stories of Irish, Black and Hawaiian sailors in bold colors on a worldwide canvas. He establishes a believable backdrop of historical figures, and weaves his heroes into intricate inter-actions. He introduces the labyrinth of European espionage and Pacific Coast secret societies where many clandestine dramas of the War unfolded. This book is a fitting end to an engaging four-part tale . . ."
