My 4 year old really loved this book. She wanted to read it over and over. She also loved the locket and didn't want to take it off.

On the back of the book it clearly states that the locket (included with the book) can be opened to put pictures inside. However, upon examining the locket with a magnifying glass, I saw there was no way possible for this locket to open as it appeares to have been made as a solid piece. What a disappointment, especially when that is what is expected upon purchase and would be expected by the child receiving it.

I bought this for my 4-year-old granddaughter who is a big fan of princesses. What caught my eye is that the book included a locket like one in the story. Sadly, when we took the locket out, it broke instantly. Pretty disappointing, but she liked the book anyway.

MY HUSBAND AND I EACH PURCHASED A BOOK FOR 2 LITTLE GIRLS THAT GO TO OUR CHURCH FOR A VALENTINES GIFT. THEY WERE EACH ALMOST 5 YEARS OLD. THEY REALLY ENJOYED BEING READ THE BOOK AND THE NECKLACE WAS JUST AN ADDED BONUS. WE BOTH RECOMMEND THE BOOK AND IT WAS THE PERFECT GIRT FOR 2 LITTLE LADIES.
