You do not have to be a religious person to enjoy this book. The author takes one of the most well know parables and brings it alive in the 21st century. He shows his real life similarities with the prodigal. The message is one of hope for all people. The chapters are very easy to read. The book would make a great modern day movie of The Prodigal Son. I have read a lot of books on the parable and this one is unique. The author brings great wisdom and insight to the story of a young man finding his way home from the distant country.
