Colette is a girl use to partying and doing what she wants. She almost learns too late that life and your dreams can pass you by if you don't do something about it. John is a professor for the college she attends.

Both their worlds are turned upside down. John teaches her what real men are all about and she brings joy, laughter, and passion to his. The characters not only grow but their relationship turns up the heat as well as the sex between them.

I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more of Normandie's books in the future.

My Review of The Professor's Plaything by Normandie Alleman for

My Review of The Professor's Plaything by Normandie Alleman for Mad In Wonderland's Review Team.

The Professor's Plaything is about Colette Ellis, a girl who partied her way through college and is now regretting her life choices. She becomes enamored with John McGill, a milquetoast professor with a rock-hard ethical mentality. When she approaches him in his office with a plea to help deepen her collegiate portfolio, Colette seduces John into an erotic quandary with her mouth, breasts, and body.

While some erotica writers would continue to have the two engage in mindless sex and depravity, Alleman gives the engaging pair a believable relationship where they date, argue, discuss and act on their differing views concerning the various aspects of sex, morality, and education. Oh, and they also indulge in mindless sex and depravity, including bondage and S&M.

Using seamless POV”s, Normandie Alleman sends the reader into John and Colette's sexual psyche, offering up their thoughts, fears, and longings about the other with a literary confidence. As a result, the two main characters are fleshed out, three-dimensional, and totally realistic. The sex scenes are sizzling hot without being cloying. Their revealing dialogue is written with a natural ease, not stiff or robotic. And, most importantly, their complicated, but endearing forbidden romance moans and groans to a satisfying conclusion. Four Stars.

    3.5 stars

I went to college, and while there I had more than a few fantasies about the hot professor, so when I read the synopsis of this book I was totally ready to take a quick survey course in the ways of academic seduction. *wink, wink*
Colette is a party girl who pretty much breezed through college. She got good grades, had her fair share of fun, but when it comes time to apply to grad school, she realizes that she needs to be able to do more. She approaches Professor John McGill for help, and he dismisses her. She breaks down in tears in his office, and attempts to seduce him. It works, and she gets a bit more than she bargained for. Both of them get more than they bargained for.
This is a quick and enticing read. Enticing because I think this is a common fantasy, and it’s easy to get into. The characters are likeable, but at the end of the day it’s such a short story it lacks in a few departments. This is supposed to be a student/teacher relationship, but it didn’t end feeling very forbidden. It was missing that edge to it that make forbidden relationships so exciting. Plus, the sex scenes were just ok. I was bit perplexed by the BDSM aspect of the sex. It didn’t really feel like it fit in the story for me. Again, perhaps this is because of the length of the story, since it didn’t have a lot of time to really delve into the dynamics.
The writing wasn’t bad and the characters I thought were interesting. I really wish this story had been longer and bit more fleshed out, as I think the promise of a good story is there. As it stands now, I give it 3.5 stars.

I received the book from the touring host for an honest review.

I received the book from the touring host for an honest review.

This is my second book from the same author and again I was delighted with her work. Her easy writing style and story telling had me glued to the book from page one.

The Professor's Plaything is a short story that had everything within such a few pages. The sex was great, the plot creative and the characters believable and interesting. It was filled with human emotions and strong characters as two people meet rather unusually.

Collette had a dream, to graduate as a Psychologist, but her years of taking it easy in college has backfired against her and she had to make a plan, fast. Doing the most unlikeliest thing, she found herself quickly in a position where she was spanked, cuffed and bounded. She also realized that she'd more career options that broaden her horizon more than she'd believed at first.

Professor John McGill was a hardworking man that never had any pleasures, but he'd fantasied about many things he could never do to the stereotypical women he dated before. When he met Collette, his dreams became reality and he could live out the fantasies he'd with her.

It is a story of finding yourself, breaking the stereotypical thinking and taking a chance on love while you're thoroughly entertained with their sex exploits. Finding each other, they became each others instruments of pleasure. In the beginning the sex was just that; sex; mechanical but as the story progressed it became more than just sex as the characters bonded.

If you're in the mood for a quick sexy novella about a student

If you're in the mood for a quick sexy novella about a student/teacher relationship that is a mixture of naughty and nice, then The Professor's Plaything is the book for you!

Party girl Colette Ellis is graduating from college and is applying to grad schools. When Colette starts getting rejection letters, she realizes that getting good grades isn't enough to get admission into grad school, she approaches Professor John McGill and asks him if she can volunteer on a project that he is working on. Professor McGill rejects Colette's request, she breaks down in tears in his office and takes him by surprise when she begins to seduce him. He tries to stand his ground, but he realizes that he can't fight the attraction and finally gives into the pleasure.

The storyline has a steamy mixture of erotica, romance, and BDSM that easily keeps the reader engaged and turning the pages. I loved the difference in the characters: Colette is your typical college party girl and John is a straight laced and serious about his profession. When they give in to their mutual attraction, they soon discover that there is something more between them than just a quick classroom fling. As I was reading the story, I couldn't help but giggle as it reminded me of the Van Halen song Hot For Teacher, aw come on now, tell me y'all never fantasized about one of your hot teachers? *wink, wink*

The Professor's Plaything is one smoking hot erotic romance story that is a quick and thoroughly enjoyable read.

I really enjoyed Colette and John's story. Colette is a fun easy

I really enjoyed Colette and John's story. Colette is a fun easy going party girl finishing up her college and waiting to hear from the schools she applied to for her graduate program. She is having no luck with any of that so she decides she needs to figure out a way to gain the experience she needs for her resume and be able to get into a program in the near future. So she decides to go to a professor and ask if he can get her in to his research program. Once she realizes he is unable to help her she decides to seduce him instead. John is serious about his work and in a bit of shock that Colette is trying to seduce him. Even tho he pledges to never get involved with a student he finally gives in to Colette. They end up spending time together and realize they have found something in each other that they need and want from life. The romance is hot and sexy and the author does a great with the storyline and the characters. It was an enjoyable novella.

Colette is your typical party girl, she breezed through college

Colette is your typical party girl, she breezed through college with good grades and partied often. She didn't realize she needed more than just good grades to get in to grad school. It began to sink when the rejection letters started arriving in the mail. To get into graduate school she needed to have research experience in addition to good grades. She goes to professor John McGill to see about doing extensive research for him.

Professor John McGill dismisses Colette instantly when she asks to do more for him. She breaks down in tears in his office and he tries to reason with her. Collete attempts to seduce him and he is taken by Collete.

The Professor's Plaything is a highly erotic story that will keep you on your toes. I loved this story and kept reading it until I finished. I highly recommend it!
