Sonja and Trent's short story was great. I thought the story was not going to be a good one based on the previous rating, I bought the short story before reading the comment. I liked their story. It could have been a lot longer! It wad juicy.

It is 76 pages long. Yes, 76 pages of predictable, pointless, nearly insulting dribble. The main character, Sonja, is poorly developed, although the reader is reminded several times that she was the victim of domestic abuse. Her love interest, Trent Logan, is hers from the very beginning. She simply arrives and it's a bunch of puppy love, feeling up, and spit swapping rubbish from there. They fall into each other's arms, and there is nothing of much consequence from there. There is one scene in which she misinterprets something Trent is doing. She has a violent flashback and overacts in public. Was this supposed to bring them closer together or drive home how damaged Sonja was? Don't know and don't care. I still can NOT believe this was published by anyone for any reason. DId I mention the book is 76 pages long?
