Meet the Author

My name is Samantha. I’m twenty years old, and I love reading and writing more than anything. I’d like to think that I’m good at it, but I’m always looking for ways to improve. My favorite thing to write about is Paranormal Romance, but I also like Fantasy and anything with a lot of action, as long it has a strong hero that I find relatable. Some of my favorite authors are Tamora Pierce, Darren Shan, J.K. Rowling, and a few others.

This book was even better than the first one. There was more action, more death, and more wonderful accurate mythology. Kylie really grew on me in this book, and I loved that she was willing to do anything and suffer any amount of pain to get back to her friends, all because she knew how badly they needed her. I’ve always been a fan of sword fighting, and I was glad to see a bit of it in this book. The fighting was awesome, and the characters were all great. I loved the look at the Gods and Goddesses, and I especially liked Selene and her relationship with her “children”. For the most part, I was glad with how things turned out.

This book picks up immediately after the last one. When I read the ending of the first book, I wondered how the author could possibly make a second one, but I got my answer pretty quick. This book has much more action, drama, and romance than the first one. It pulls heavily from Greek Mythology, and it features creatures like the minotaur, dragons, basilisks, merfolk, and the major Greek Gods. Once again, this author has written some amazing fight scenes, many of which feature swords. The story moves along at a quick pace, and the ending was amazing. I think this is it for the Daray Hall series, but there could possibly be more books in the future.

    Quick and intriguing

This was a great read. Ill definitely read it again. Its quick and easy to read, but that doesnt take away any necessary information and/or detail needed to keep readers intrigued. If anything, it makes the reading flow smoothly and quickly. The attention to detail during the fight scene made the picture in my head come to life.
