Overview

Dilworth Coup was only thirteen when his sister was mysteriously and brutally murdered when they were at camp for a few weeks of the summer. Not able to understand what happened, the camp was closed and Dil went home without his little sister.
It's seven years later and Dilworth returns to the camp as a counselor for the grand reopening. The past behind him he moves on and tries to make the camp fun for the kids as it was for him so many years ago. But strange things begin to happen as he starts having mysterious dreams about his younger sister in danger...and it gets even weirder when he begins seeing her while he's awake.

She's warning him to run...but why?

When he's attacked by a demon and saved by his supposedly dead sister things begin to change rapidly for him. He's thrown into a war between Demons and Angels, all of which have been punished by God because of their choices. Dil tries to understand how he is a part of the bigger picture as he races against the clock to save four children at the camp from suffering the same fate as his sister. But to do that he must accept what he is and what he did in the past, while he uses the power he was given to protect the world from the spiritual evil that's invited to stay.

Dilworth Coup must become a Purger.

Meet the Author

Michael began writing at the age of fourteen and while "The Purger" is waiting for you to open and explore the story it has to tell, it is the fourteenth novel he was written in the last six years, but the first of a new series as he dives into Christian Horror/Suspense Fiction.
Raised in a Christian household, but having a knack for storytelling, Michael uses his faith to depict stories that he hopes anyone can enjoy. He was one of many to win the Nanowirmo.org National Novel Writing Month contest in November of 2011. He hopes to gain some exposure by making "The Purger" available for others to read and he hopes that you will enjoy the dark and twisted journey Dilworth Coup was forced to join, but chose to ride all the same.
He lives with his wife, Jean and brand new baby girl, Evangeline Nicole in Reno, Nevada and has an agent through the Pikkante Media Network.
