Inspired by real-life rescue stories, this tale came from the heartwarming experience of my veterinarian friend, who saved a tiny street kitten that was very sick. She gave the kitten lots of love and care, and soon the kitten was healthy again! The joy of that moment made me want to create this story. The three cats in the book are like another friend's rescue cats, who now live happily ever after and play with their pet parent every day. Through "The Purrfect Welcome," I hope to help young kids understand the power of kindness and how one person can make a big difference. It's a "purrfect" story for animal lovers and young heroes!
