Interviews

"Exploration and discovery are two of my favorite things. Alaska is so chock-full of wildly interesting and dramatic ecosystems, animals, and natural phenomena that you can spend 30 years exploring and only cover a fraction of the state. Best of all, you can still be surprised.

Puzzles are all about exploration and discovery. Solving any puzzle requires exploring different options—such as different interpretations of words or different perspectives—until the correct answer is discovered, sometimes in a forehead-slapping, foot-stomping, squealing, tell-everyone-about-it ah-ha moment.

Marrying Alaska exploration with puzzles is like ordering your favorite cake (layered chocolate) with a heaping side of your favorite ice cream (mint chocolate chip): it’s doubly delicious fun!"
