So if one would noticed it was but a 24 hour period since I wrote the review for the first book and am here now writing the review for the second. That is because I could not PUT THE SECOND BOOK DOWN. It really, it was better than the first and I have to say I love the adventure and less on the romance but yet there is some in there. Made me tear up a few times and was just overall quite enjoyable. (Frustrating because of my lack of sleep and having to go and buy the third one immediately! Which was 1:00 Am.. haha )... I hope everyone reads and loves the Queen Blade Series as much as it seems they are! Great great time!

This was a very good book. I am going to read the entire series. It is a page turner. You will always root for Blade to succeed no matter how mean he can be, because you know deep down he does care & is a good person eventhough he is an assassin. The Queen you feel for & hope that she survives & is able to reunite with her true love King Kerrion. Some movie producer should contact this arthur & offer to make the entire series into a blockbuster movie.

I got the first book free and told my husband he had to read it. He bought this one and I read it after him. I read the entire book in 1 evening. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! It was fantastic!! I was laughing, holding my breath, crying and cheering through the whole thing! There wasn't a good stopping point, I just HAD to know what happened next! THANK you for such a great story Southwell! You have a gift for sure! ....on to the next one...

One question though...do the Master of the Dance battles have to be so detailed in their descriptions? It makes them seem silly and hard to take seriously. But otherwise great series.
