    My New Year's resolutions include health/fitness goals. "The Quick and Easy Fast Diet Cookbook" surprised me with of the system it presents, alternating days of minimal calorie intake with days of healthy eating - plus all of the quick and healthy recipes it contains. This book is ideal for you if you are serious about eating and living healthier.

    If it’s true that ancient man was a hunter-gatherer -- where he sometimes went days with no food -- this book's assertion that eating five days, while fasting (or eating less calories) for two, may be an accurate understanding of how the human body functions. This short book contains tips for making the diet successful, as well as many practical recipes to get started on it. It’s more about planned eating, than dieting and sure seems relatively painless.

    This is the book for the food lovers but every day weight conscious. Reading this book will quickly get readers to see advantages to partaking in the Fast Diet program.  This dies is successful because it reduces calorie intake for two out of the seven days of the week “tricking” the body into burning fat instead of sugars and carbs when you fast.  Don’t be alarmed, “fasting” is REALLY just two full days of eating fewer calories, not starving yourself. I strongly recommend this book for a few reasons, but mainly it’s just a good read, with great recipes and practice advice. Definitely worth the time and financial investment ~ EdenThrone

    This book had an amazing amount of low super fast and easy recipes! Beyond the recipes, this book refers to a weight management strategy to lead a healthier lifestyle without starving. Plus, there are 77 recipes that describe the calories in each recipe, how long it takes to prepare each recipe, and the step-by-step preparation instructions. Definitely recommend!

    This cookbook reads as fast as it suggests one can lose weight. The menus are simple. The ingredients are readily available and will fit into any budget.     I definitely think I’ve found a diet that I can work with. Being a big eater who finds food more enjoyable than most other things, I can definitely see the advantage of the Fast Diet program. The basic guideline is to reduce your calorie intake for two out of the seven days of the week. This way, your body is tricked into burning fat instead of sugars and carbs on your fasting days. A clever concept that will work if you follow it and commit yourself to eating healthier. The book explains the diet itself, how to get started and how to maintain. Then it outlines 77 delicious recipes that won’t get you bored. I’m starting tomorrow.

    When I first heard about The Fast Diet I was a little hesitant as it sounded too good to be true, but it's actually been working out! I pick my two "grumpy days" to eat the suggested diet, and then keep the stress to a minimum for the rest of the week (within reason obvs). I've already dropped some weight, and my girlfriend is loving the fact that I'm cooking healthy food for both of us - thumbs up!

    Pretty informative guide to a quick and easy diet regime. It basically consists of cutting down your calorie count 2 days out of the week. This is very short and straight to the point read. Their is no fluff, no ling winded chapters about the diet. It begins introducing the concept of fasting and how this fast is different then the rest. It provides facts, tips, and advice to ensure success. Then gives recipes for meals. Informative and short/sweet.

    This is great reference for my new diet. Not only have we lost almost 12
    pounds, but we also save a fair amount at the grocery store each week.
    Learning to restructure our weekly shopping routine wasn't easy, but has
    ended up saving us a ton in wasted food each Saturday night. The kids
    were a little slow to come around on the salads, but they have become
    infatuated with frittatas and spinach omelets. Great little reference book!

    The recipes use fresh, whole food ingredients and look delicious.  I’m excited to try them!

    Originally thrown by the title, thinking it was a fad diet book with fast, but short term results, I found the "Fast Diet Cookbook" to be more than I expected. Having not considered fasting as a possible means of weight loss before, I found the advice and recipes to be reasonable and appear not overly complicated to follow. I appreciated the advice given throughout the book on how to avoid over buying food and thus creating waste.

    If you are looking for a diet that doesn’t have complicated systems and charts, is loaded with health benefits and doesn’t require massive lifestyle change, then this book is a great tool toward implementing your new diet. A diet cookbook may seem like an oxymoron, but these flavorful recipes will make your fast days something to look forward to. Reads well and has plenty of resources worth paying for. From great recipes, to tips on preparation and even a roster of all the health benefits you can look forward to when doing the fast diet, this book is a steal!

Fasting is a great way of losing those pounds easy and still eating the food you love. In the book the "Quick & Easy Fast Diet Cookbook: 77 Fast Diet Recipes Made in Minutes" you will find all you need to start losing weight, and still eating your favorite food. The book has great varieties of delicious recipes that will make you forget that you are on a diet.

    The recipes: wonderful. I can’t wait to try some of them. The information on this diet? Not so wonderful. One of the “resources” listed on intermittent fasting is an op-ed from The Guardian. My guess is that they omit actual scientific sources because they’d have to then mention the risks – skimping on food can lead to acid reflux problems, blood sugar problems, and can mess with the way your brain works. So look elsewhere for real advice on whether this is the right plan for you, but pick up this book for its recipes.
