Lady Fern Reynolds is an independent young woman but her father

Lady Fern Reynolds is an independent young woman but her father and the Marquis of Warwick have arranged her marriage without even consulting her. Wanting to escape, Fern plots to runaway to London. An unexpected meeting with "Viscount Sandford" in her brother’s library gives Fern the means of her escape. Rick (Viscount Eric Sandford) agrees to bring Fern in disguise of his page. The Viscount revels in the idea of getting to know the stubborn Lady Fern because Fern will soon discover that her Rick and The Marquis of Warwick have a lot in common.

This was an incredibly cute historical romance. A novella length storyline made this a quick, easy, enjoyable read. The witty banter,a humorous parrot and a mother with constant vapors just add to the charm of this story. I just wish The Quizzing-Glass Bride was longer, I really would of love more of Fern and Rick.

This ARC copy of The Quizzing-Glass Bride was given to me by Kensington Books in exchange for a honest review. This book is set for publication on April 4, 2013.
