Editorial Reviews

bn.com
A rich compilation of baseball's most famous (and infamous) quotations. The evocative words of players and pundits paint very memorable pictures, including this early bit of understated sports journalism from The Baltimore Sun, 1874: "The feebleness of the home team's play...caused much dissatisfaction, which was rather warmly expressed." Plus plenty of Stengel, Durocher, McCarver, and many more.
