LOREN CORDAIN, Ph.D., is one of the top global researchers in the area of evolutionary medicine. Generally acknowledged as the world's leading expert on the Paleolithic diet, he is a professor emeritus in the Health and Exercise Science Department at Colorado State University. Since I started another dieting solution to lose weight and I successfully lost 15 pounds, I have been looking for ways to supplement this loss with good food. I am finding out that simple is better and that is why I love the recipes in this book. My favorites so far are the Roasted Beet Bites With Orange Walnut Drizzle, the Lamb Hot Pot, and the Cuban Style Shredded Beef Skillet. I also the built in cheat factor. Who sticks to a diet all the time? That is why I love that the author recommends that we stick to it at least 85% of the time. We can all do that. So all in all, for real food, buy this book. If you are looking to lose weight and keep it off, buy yourself a copy of the Hungry Chick Dieting Solution!

I got the book a couple weeks ago and have tried numerous recipes. All have been great so far but the preparation has been a lot more time consuming than I was hoping for. If you have a lot of time to prepare, this is a great book but if you are on a time crunch you will be frustrated.
