This is a powerhouse of a book. Honestly I have heard the realm idea before. I thought maybe this would be a cliche style of writing. I was surprised. The Angel  theme is gaining popularity and honestly the vampire theme is way overdone. However, I did enjoy this thrilling book to the point where I had to get the remainder of the series which is the complete novel. Try it. You will get hooked.

This might be an interesting story. Unfortunately the writing style lacks coherence and the story is saddled with strange word choices. One example is the word pitched. I'm familiar with pitched when used in phrases such as "pitched the tent", "he pitched the ball", or "the ship pitched to and fro." I've never heard it used in place of words like 'settled' or 'landed.' This author used pitched to describe an angel landing on the limb of a tree. Perhaps the weather was rough? What finally caused me to stop reading was the authors bizarre tendency to write dialogue that makes his characters sound like Yoda. The first time I encountered Yoda talk, I shrugged it off. The second time, it was annoying. The third time, I decided my time would be better spent reading anything else, including poorly translated instruction manuals.

Totally stupid. The children turn blue and the vampire thing is idiotic.
