Love the Series "Immortals"

As always I love these books, that is why I couldn't wait to get the 10th book. This one is a little different in that it is actually 3 stories in one book. I am a little disappointed each story is very short. It was still a thrill ride on each one. But, left me wanting to know a little more after it was done. I hope they do write another few books on the series. There are allot of characters to build on. And just about everyone has kids now. Why not build on the story about the kids of the Immortals?

    I Also Recommend:

    Enjoyable Read!!

In order to thoroughly enjoy the anthology "The Reckoning" you should first read the prior three Immortal books. Each of the anthology stories served as sort of a continuation for each book. What I did was first read The Redeeming and then read the first story Wolf Hunt from "The Reckoning" and then read The Crossing and then the second story Blood Debt from "The Reckoning" and so forth. It provided a more smooth understanding of the anthology stories and happily ever after end for the Immortal books. Never have been more entertained in a long time!

    I Also Recommend:

Immortals: The Reckoning by Jennifer Ashley, Joy Nash & Robin T. Popp

"Immortals: The Reckoning" is a three story anthology by the authors who penned the seven full length 'Immortals' stories. Each short story features a secondary character from the original series that I bet lots of reader wanted to know about...I know I did!

"Wolf Hunt" by Jennifer Ashley - When the demon Nadia places a terrified call to lone wolf Logan, it doesn't take him long to track her down. The story behind Logan's lone wolf status and his happily ever after.

"Blood Debt" by Joy Nash - Leanna was saved by her half-brother Mac but not until after she spent time in Hell. Now she's repudiated use of her death magic and has vowed not to kill. Of course, that was before she came face to face with the one man she loved...who's now a vampire in a fight for his existence.

"Beyond the Mist" by Robin T. Popp - Jenna couldn't save her sister with her magic, and she's always felt that her magic helped cause the death of her parents. So it's not surprising that she's having a hard time getting over her guilt. But when an interfering goddess tries to barter her soul, Jenna will discover her worth, and her hero.

If you read the series, you won't want to miss this anthology. If you didn't read the series, these stories will give you an idea of what you missed. I enjoyed all three as they tied up some loose ends and provided a sexy afternoon treat.

These are three terific Immortals' tales

"Wolf Hunt" by Jennifer Ashley. Six months ago LAPD cop Logan the werewolf saved the life of Nadia the demon Nadia. Now he receives an urgent call from her from the woody California-Oregon border that they are coming for her. He drops everything to keep her safe, but now faces a dilemma from his past as pack leader Matt and her preadolescent son Joel are involved as much as his heart is.

"Blood Debt" by Joy Nash. One hundred years ago, Leanna the Sidhe killed Jackson in Paris. He survived the encounter but was turned and became a slave to master vampire Armand Legrand. Now he is returning to Paris to kill his former overlord and perhaps Leanna too especially if she tries to prevent his achieving his life¿s ambition.

"Beyond the Mist" by Robin T. Popp. Poseidon has come to claim what was willingly pledged to him by Sekhmet though the ocean God admits he no longer desires her one year old grandson¿s soul, but even he cannot break the magical contract. He needs a soul for a soul so Sekhmet thinking the witch Jenna killed her parents offers her up. Spirit-walker Dave and Jenna are on a cruise ship run by Poseidon who comes to collect his debt. If she can free her powers repressed by her mental reaction to family homicides and with Dave¿s help, she might survive with her soul intact, but can she fight back once she knows the alternate price.

These are three terific Immortals' tales containing strong lead characters, super key support players, and the return of former stars inside deep paranormal thrillers. This is a winning anthology for fans and newcomers by the saga¿s authors who have writeen at least two novels each.

Harriet Klausner
