What a delight to find The Red House, while browsing some of my favorite vintage mystery writers. A. A. Milne is known mostly for his Winnie-the-Pooh stories. Who knew he wrote an exceptionally entertaining mystery story? Peppered with delightful characters, the story is hard to put down. A great read find for the vintage mystery reader and others looking for wonderfully drawn characters and an exceptional story.
