Lilywolf to Pact Clans! Read This Huge Post! (On Computer)

Lilywolf to Pact Clans! Read This Huge Post! (On Computer)

The light grey tabby shecat pads out from behind the charred great oak stump with Velvetsnow, her ice blue eyes clouded. Though she knows her daughter has tried to comfort her it has done little to ease the pain. But at least she is not alone. Lilywolf's gaze falls on Foxstar, Poppystar, Thistlestar, Willowstar and their deputies as they arrive. Whether or not they feel any pride for being right about needing to leave, she still feels angry as she looks at them. Marching forward, she growls, "I see you got our message. Horseclan is ready to leave. I will be leading them. Goldenstar is not coming but I suppose that's fine with you. After all he was the reason we couldn't leave before." The tabby knows she is being unfair but at the moment she doesn't care. The pain is too raw for her to stand and the fact that her efforts hadn't been able to save her love only makes it that much harder to bare. Trying to hide the tears that threaten to spill over, Lilywolf lashes her tail and adds, "I've noticed that ever since the gathering skylights have been visible hovering on the horizon that lies across the badlands. I'm no medicine cat but perhaps it is a sign. Either way the badlands are our best bet, unless wandering through a twoleg place, never ending farms, or mountains appeals to you more. But I believe the clans should follow those lights." Rising to her bloody paws, she offers no further explanation of Goldenstar. Pinning Foxstar with an especially hostile glare, the shecat turns away, calling over her shoulder, "I will be in charge of my own warriors. So don't even think about ordering them around." With that she stalks away, her tail dragging in the dust and the fire that had once lit up her eyes gone. The tabby looks over her warriors and meows, "Horseclan, we are leaving. I cannot tell you where we will end up or that everything will be okay. But if we stick together and help one another, we have a shot of getting through this. The other clans will be traveling with us but remember we are separate clans. There should be no extra contact with them unless absolutely necessary. There should be no fighting however. This will require everyone's best but Starclan willing we'll make it. Let's go." Bowing her head, Lilywolf turns away and picks up Lavakit. Physically unable to carry Mouseheart now, she motions for Lightningstorm to take her and for Velvetsnow and Rosepetal to take Bramblekit and Bluekit. Uncertain if the rogues will follow, the shecat slowly leads Horseclan up the crest of the hill that leads down to the gathering. At the top she pauses for a moment to look out at the flames now devouring the prairie. She expects to feel a twinge of grief for her home but she realizes that without Goldenstar it can never be home. Without a second glance, the deputy heads through an already burned section of the prairie, leading her clan to the border that marks the start of the badlands. She thinks of Cloudripple, Icefire, Larkfrost, and all the others being left behind and sorrow fills her. But they have no choice. However the loss of Goldenstar is what has broken her and it is visible in every movement as she once again widens the distance between her and her mate. ~ Lilywolf
P.S. Okay everyone it's finally time to head out on our journey! We are going to "Ron Morton". All of the results have something in them but we will be starting in the book that has the post titled Day - 1 in it. For me that book is in the first result. The date that we moved to that first book is 1/2/15 for anyone who needs to catch up with us later. Before you post you NEED to read the rules that can be found at the bottom of each of my computer posts for the journey. If everyone follows the rules we will have a great time and everything will go smoothly. Be sure to read each daily post as we go travel so you know what is going on as well! I hope you all like it!

Song Time!
Now for the song that I have long awaited to post! It just fits so well for both Goldenstar's and Lilywolf's feelings at the moment! Basically they are both feeling this way for each other.I tweeked it only slightly since Goldenstar and Lilywolf are obviously not sisters! XD But honestly if you overlook that part it perfectly describes what is going on with them. If you do not know this song seriously check it out! Oh and by the way, while this is playing your cats are all running in slow motion. Well at least they are for me! ;) Enjoy!
Run For Your Life - The Fray

Verse 1:
17 years by his side,
Broke the same bread,
Wore the same clothes and you said,
We're lovers with nothing between,
If one of us falls, the other will soon be following.

Both of you fell the same day,
And you don't know why,
But one of you never woke up.
You lay your body down on the floor,
You're desperate to hear his footsteps again,
But this house is on fire and we need to go.

Chorus:
Woah, you don't have to go it alone, go it alone.
Run for your life my love,
Run and you don't give up,
With all that you are and all that you want,
I will be close behind!
Run for your life.

Verse 2:
He had a fire inside, and that terrified you,
You swore that you'd never lose your control,
Baby let yourself go, 'cause part of you hides,
And I know the hunger inside of you is strong,
You can only hold back the river so long.

Chorus (X2):
Woah, you don't have to go it alone,
Woah, you don't have to go it alone, go it alone.
Run for your life my love,
Run and you don't give up,
With all that you are and all that you want.
Run for your life right now,
And if you don't know how,
I'll come back with you and take all that's true,
And leave all that's burned behind!
Run for your life.

Run for your life.
