I thought this was a great children's book. I loved the fact that it expressed how friends can come together and support you through your fears and heartaches. Great Book. Joan Herring

Acute little story that contains a valuable message about overcoming fear and self doubt. Fun reading and wonderfully written. A great keepsake to give my grandson.

This well written and illustrated book teaches it's ok to admit you're afraid. It emphasizes the value of friends and teamwork~something I think about each time I read it to my grandchildren. In time, this book will be as much a part of Christmas traditions as Rudolph and Frosty. It already is in our family!

This little story is perfect for reading during the holidays or anytime. It teaches children through rhyme and very appealing illustrations that it is okay to be afraid. It shows them that friends are always willing to help, and that teamwork gets the job done. It's a sweet little book to read to grandchildren.

As a kindergarten teacher in an inner city school of Engineering, I found this delightful book a great tool for a class discussion. We are all about "teamwork" in our school. In this book, Dancer learns how precious it is to have friends support and care for him. Another aspect I loved was the rhyming. I used it to practice rhymes with my class. With smiles on their faces, my students clapped at the end of the story. When I sat down to read them another book later on, they wanted, "The Reindeer Who Was Afraid to Fly". I will read it over and over to my class each year at Christmas. Audrey Stanley

Our local coffee shop sells this book and it is adorable. A large, glossy softcover book with color illustrations on every page. Since its written in rhyming verse, young children will love hearing the story and older children will enjoy reading it themselves.

The book is certainly great for the season and certainly injects to the listener or reader that *teamwork* is the key to getting you through rough times. Appropriate for grades 1-4. Illustrations are awsome and relate the story very well..
