The Relentless Warrior is Book Six in the Star-Crossed Series

Jericho Bentley is disillusioned by life. He feels lost in a world of peace and restless in a time threatened by war. He has given up on love, forgotten how to trust others and decided a lifetime of bachelorhood is all that remains for him.

Olivia Taylor was struggling to find her way in a human world. Now taken from the only life she’s ever known and changed on a molecular level, she is more lost than ever. With her sister struggling to survive the after effects of one of Dmitri Terletov’s experiments, Olivia sets off with Jericho to find a cure for both herself and her sister.

Together, Jericho and Olivia find more than vengeance and answers, they find a deep friendship that might teach them both to trust again. Maybe even to love again. As long as they can both put the hurt of their past behind them for good.

Meet the Author

I was born and raised in Nebraska, but spent my college years traveling the world. I fell in love with Eastern Europe, Paris, Indian Food and the beautiful beaches of Sri Lanka. But I came back home to marry my high school sweetheart and now I spend my days raising our growing family. In those few spare moments I have, I am either reading or writing Young Adult Fiction, because I am obsessed with it.

Five other things I'm obsessed with right now:
1. My Kuerig Coffee Machine. Genius.
2. 90's music. Oh man, the 90's speak right to my soul.
3. Chocolate smelling body wash. Who doesn't want to walk around smelling like a bakery?
4. Colored Chapstick. And if it's Dr. Pepper Flavored, that's kind of my nirvana.
And.
5. Spotify. It's like the mixed-tape of this generation and I have probably three hundred hours of music on there. Can't get enough.

I was never in love with Jericho for Eden. I liked his character

I was never in love with Jericho for Eden. I liked his character, but I was more than thrilled when Eden and Kiran ended up together. Jericho was still always in the back of my mind though. He was such a great guy from the beginning, and probably deserved Eden more than Kiran, and the internal debate goes on and on.

In The Relentless Warrior Jericho is redeemed. All the pain and misery he went through is not only forgotten, but completely erased with the introduction of a new character, Olivia. TRW takes you through the twists and turns of a new immortal getting used to her new world, while learning to trust, and maybe even more, the man who saved her, Jericho.

I fell in love with this book from the minute I picked it up. The story had just the right amount of all my favorites from the other books, while focusing on Jericho and Olivia and their chance meeting turned into a hopeless romance.

So anyone who follows the star crossed series by Rachel, has bee

So anyone who follows the star crossed series by Rachel, has been dying for Jericho to find his ultimate true love. His hearts companion. I think that at the end of book 5 , we all were so frustrated that Jericho still had not found his match, but in our hearts we were still looking for someone to be good enough.
Well Olivia is the one, wow ! She is seriously the one who challenges Jericho, and is perfect for him in every and all ways. Olivia is head strong and fights her emotions every step of the way. She hates who these people are, while trying to understand that because being captured by Terletov has ranked her right with them. Jericho fights to protect her and figures out that while once he loved Eden that what he feels for Olivia is more than ever felt for Eden.
This is who is magic has been searching for, he can feel their magics uniting, and he wll find a way to never loose this woman who "Magically"came into his life.
All the while he hunts down, and fights Terletov, with Olivia by his side.
Could not put this down , had waited so long for Jericho to get his love, it was worth the wait.

I have to say that the Star Crossed series is one of my all time

I have to say that the Star Crossed series is one of my all time favorites! I love the characters, and the story always keeps me interested. This one was no exception. I loved this book. I was a little leery of the alternate point of view, but I really enjoyed hearing from both of the characters. It took me a few chapters to really get hooked, but then I couldn't put the book down. I am ready for the last book right now! I want to know how this whole thing is going to work out. Love this series!!!!!!

I feel like I have waited for this book for forever. I can't say

I feel like I have waited for this book for forever. I can't say I wasn't skeptical that it would live up to all the hype I'd given it in my head. I was never really a huge Jericho fan. He just didn't do it for me. Of course, Rachel Higginson was able to blow my expectations out of the water once again. I never thought I'd learn to love Jericho but she proved me wrong yet again. Another wonderful read. Buy it now.

Ever since Jericho gave up Eden there has been that place in our heart that has been waiting to be filled with his happiness!!!! This book picks up on the fight with Terletov but introduces us to Liv. She is the 1st of Terletov’s experiements to live, she also finds herself drawn to the " General", when before she didn't even have friends outside her family. She has a sister in a coma, a human family to protect and a gypsy queen's warning to worry about on top of her growing feelings.Jericho can't decide if it is harder to be around Liv or away from her. We see Jericho in his element protecting those he loves and finally getting some happiness in return. Through all this there are still missions to go on, humans to protect and magic to save.

I loved this book. Jericho has always been one of my most favorite characters of all time and I was glad he was able to find love because he deserved it most of all!!! Before reading the book, i liked the idea of him and Olivia but knew from the get go that it would be hard for me to immediately, within one book fall in love within her and him together. Since I went in with low expectations and my opinion that no woman would ever be good enough or perfect enough for my Jericho, I ended up very pleasantly surprised and elated with their relationship and with being able to get inside his head. I think that for my favorite chapter, Rachel pulled it off, and for that I am so grateful!

There is no doubt that Rachel knows how to build a good love story, with a great background of action and suspense.

I love the plot of the second Half of the star crossed series. I think it is interesting and full of intrigue and I am DYING to read Sebastian and the end of this saga! I know that the second half of this series will be just as good as the first half!

    Just keeps getting better

I follow quite a few lesser known authors and while they all seem to be plateuing, Higginson is getting better and better. I used to think that she was just trying to drag out the series, but this book was like a breath of fresh air. I am so excited to see if she continues with Liv; I feel connected to her the same way I'm connected to Eden.
    Must read.
