    Excellent, easy to recommend

Before Deborah Knott in North Carolina there was Sigrid Harald in New York. these are very nice blends of police procedural and human interest, and very enjoyable to read: not as long as and having less character development than the Knott series but well worth reading.

    I love this series

I really enjoy the Sigrid Harald series and I wish Margaret Maron would write more of them. I find Sigrid's character interesting and I guess I relate to her a lot which is probably why I like the series so much. This one in particular, was an enjoyable read in every way - starts off with a bang and goes from there.
