Overview

Due to a clause in her father’s will, Lily has until Christmas to find a husband. Having yet to find a single man she would ever consider marrying after six failed seasons, she fears all hope is lost… until she meets the mysterious, insufferable, and oh so handsome Captain James Rigby.

Recently returned and still recovering from the bloody battlefields of war, James is missing an arm and, it would seem, a heart. The last thing on the embittered soldier’s mind is marriage, especially to Lily Kincaid, a woman who is as infuriatingly stubborn as she is beautiful.

With time running out, can Lily convince James – and herself – true love really exists? Or will she lose everything, including her heart? Find out in The Risqué Resolution, a holiday novella filled with romance, humor, and just a touch of Christmas magic.

Meet the Author

Jillian is twenty seven years old and grew up in Maine. No, she (unfortunately) did not have a pet moose. She did, however, start writing when she was in the first grade and hasn't stopped since. Back then her stories revolved around fairy princesses, unicorns, and big smelly trolls. Now she enjoys writing historical romances and young adult novels, but one day hopes to get back to the fairy princesses and big smelly trolls.

She absolutely loves to hear from her readers, and can be contacted through her personal blog or by e-mail.
